The Mission

As we all know November is a focus month for men’s mental health and suicide prevention throughout the world but most definitely here in Australia.

What you may not know is that there several ex-service and combat veterans amongst our community here at CGA.

This year we have decided to combine these two worlds to fundraise for Soldier On.

About Soldier On

Soldier On is Australia’s only national support service provider for members of the Australian Defence Force (ADF) and their families.

As a national charity, they support more than 5,000 veterans and their family members through our Health and Wellbeing services, Employment Support, Learning and Education Programs, as well as Participation and Social Connection activities.

These programs are made possible through the generous support of the Australian community and Corporate Partners.

Soldier On offers a full range of support services across health and wellbeing and social participation, including psychological support for better mental health, education, and employment, as well as facilitation of social connections through sports and community networks, and advice on staying fit and healthy.

I want in how do I support the cause?

Well traditionally when you think November, you think Mo's.

So, feel free to join us for clean shave on November first and grow out that lip foliage, face lace, or extra eyebrow for the entire month.

What if you usually are clean shaven and don't want to grow a mo?

No problem, have you heard of beards?

Not a fan of facial hair, or to much of one to shave?

Well perhaps just tell one of the “Hairy Heroes” how good they look?
