We are holding a fundraiser to help raise much needed funds for Soldier On at Titan Fitness Coogee.
This event is a tribute to those who served our country and fought for our freedom. Twelve hours of sustained effort is a small reflection of the years of sacrifice endured through conflict - sacrifice that has given us the freedom and opportunity we enjoy today. We ask for your support as we honour that legacy.
The Workout:
The event opens with a 1,914m run, marking the year the war began. From there, the team will rotate continuously through a ski erg and row erg for the duration of the 12 hours, sharing the work as a unit. At the any erg station, a 25kg weighted vest will be worn at all times - a nod to the significance of the 25th of April.
On the bike erg, the team will collectively cover 130,000m in tribute to the estimated 130,000 lives lost throughout the war. Within every hour, the team must also complete 111 shared box jump step overs, marking 111 years since the outbreak of conflict.
The event closes as it began - with purpose - finishing on a 1,916m run to honour the year the war ended.
