My target 96 kms
I'm fundraising to support our veterans and their families
I’m taking on the March On with Soldier On Challenge to honour our past war heroes and help our modern-day veterans by committing to walk 96kms the Kokoda trail twice. I am currently in a Western Australian hotel Quarantine Facility the room allows me to walk 14 meters one way equaling one lap. I plan to walk a minimum of 50kms per day in 3 hour blocks which will be tracked via Garmin/Strava and complete this journey within the next 5 days starting at 6pm on Thursday the 22/10/20. I want to show my support to all our current and past serving men and women of the Australian Defence Force and raise more awareness of mental health/ PTSD and suicide prevention.
Because that’s the length of the Kokoda Track which stands as a symbol of the courage and sacrifice our defence community make to keep us safe.
