Gee time has flown these last few months!

Thank you to all who have shared words of encouragement and support, and to those who have been able to donate funds to Soldier On.

I’m feeling strong and healthy and as ready as I can be.

Shout out to our little school community from Covenant Christian ACT - the kids raised money in book week to purchase educational books for the schools along the trail - and in return I facilitated some age appropriate activities to inform our kids about the terrain and history of this incredible track.

Welcome to my Kokoda Trail countdown… 

In 5 weeks I will set off to accomplish a career-long aspiration - to trek the historic Kokoda Trail in PNG. 

My trek buddy, Soldier On Ambassador Dr Bec Jackson, and I are raising funds for this life changing charity - in an effort to do our part to prevent veteran suicide and enable veterans and their families to live meaningful lives. 

So far we’ve travelled at least 115km in our hiking training, including an incredible summit of Mt Kosciuszko.

Today, 06 Aug, an incredible group of people joined Bec and I for our “fundraising trek” - hosted by our partnering sponsor Peak Learning Adventures. 

With thanks to Platinum Sponsor Synergy all participants enjoyed a complimentary hot brunch and brew at Poppy’s Cafe, a limited edition t-shirt thanks to Gold Sponsor Callida Consulting, a limited edition beanie thanks to Silver Sponsor Protegas Australia, and a limited edition buff thanks to St Matthews Church Wanniassa. 

Additional bronze sponsors Park Hair, The Jackson Company and Studio Pilates International have enabled us to run additional fundraising events and compounded funds raised by the ADFA FOCUS Bingo Night and Covenant Christian School (who are purchasing educational books for the Efogi Community School, PNG).

And our fundraising efforts have been further enhanced by substantial discounts for merchandise offered by Canberra Workwear, Liquid Promotions and Headskinz Australia.

It’s been a huge face-to-face fundraising effort thus far… 
now I’m inviting you to join the team. 

I’m aiming to raise a further $6748…
$1 for every meter of elevation that I will climb.
