This march, myself and my team will be marching on and supporting the prevention of ADF veteran suicide though the soldier on charity.
I have personally lost four people close to me from suicide and I know first hand about the devastating effects this has on the remaining family and friends.
In the ADF alone 1677 members have committed suicide between 1997-2021.
Suicide is preventable.
So this year myself and the team members will be marching on for a total of 96kms each. Signifying the length of the Kokoda trail.
This pays tribute to the sacrifices made by our brave soldiers in Kokoda during WWII and highlighting the importance of needing to help our current serving and EX serving ADF members of today as well as there families who support them through uncertain times of today.
The team would be greatly appreciative of any donation, small or large that would help reward there huge efforts by supporting this charity that is close to our hearts.
