Michael Fussell Memorial Match

On the 25h September 2021, the ADFA rugby club will be holding a memorial weekend commemorating the life and service of Lieutenant Michael Fussell, who was killed on deployment on the 27th November 2008 in Afghanistan. The weekend will se the conduct of a series of memorial matches to be played against the Armidale Blues Rugby and Netball Club (Michael's hometown) played in honour of Michael, with all funds raised being donated to Soldier On.

The intent of this initiative is to raise awareness of the struggles of current and ex-serving Australian Defence Force veterans through the series of sporting matches and to raise money for Soldier On. 

The event will be held on the 25th September 2021 at Portsea Oval, Royal Military College, Canberra with all welcome to attend.
