March On

My Activity Tracking

My target 96 kms

I'm fundraising to support our veterans and their families

I’m taking on the March On with Soldier On Challenge to honour our past war heroes and help our modern-day veterans by committing to walk 96kms this coming March.

Why 96kms?
Because that’s the length of the Kokoda Track which stands as a symbol of the courage and sacrifice our defence community make to keep us safe.

In doing this, I need your help with a donation so Soldier On can continue to provide vital support services to the selfless service men and women, and their families, who have done so much to serve our nation.

Every dollar you donate to my page will go to directly to Soldier On and you will automatically receive a tax-deductible receipt via email as soon as you have made your donation.

So, please support me while I March On with Soldier On. Wish me luck as I set out to do my bit for our brave veterans!

My Updates

We live in a wonderful country, but it is not as wonderful as it could be.  A big part of that is we should as a nation be committed to ensuring that every person has the opportunity to live their best achievable life.
In the case of veterans my concern is we don't do enough to support those men and women who have served in the Australian Defence Force when they leave and return to the community.  We can and we should do more and sometimes the most effective parties who can help veterans are those who see the world from their perspective. It is important that the work of such groups is encouraged and supported by those who aren't veterans.  People like me and possibly you.  So I am going to walk during March and raise funds in the hope that my contribution has a positive impact on veterans around Australia, remind them that our community is stronger for their part in it and that they can and should seek to live their best achievable life as members of the our community.  Thanks for your service.
