Two Weeks to Go

We've been approved by CO AMTS to grow beards from 19 Oct to 17 Dec. This is a rare opportunity to put down the razor for 60 whole days!

There are some ground rules though. Firstly, you still have to abide by Dress Manual requirements and they will be enforced. Secondly, no donation = no beard. The going rate is $100 for 30 days, and an extra $50 ($150 all up) for the whole 60 days. Family and friends are welcome to donate too, but you've got to stump up for yourself.

Ultimately, we're not doing this for ourselves, we're doing this to support Soldier On, and the serving and ex-serving members and their families that they support through their HELP program.

Tuesday 19th Oct
It has ticked over to Tuesday and that means the 18 people who have donated so far can put down the razors and start growing. It's not too late to donate! We are looking for further donations in order to achieve our goal of raising $5000 for Soldier On and the work they do for veterans and their families.

For example, your family and friends might be persuaded to donate in order to ensure you look presentable over the Christmas break, rather than reprising scenes from Jumanji. Or, as COVID restrictions ease, you could raise funds by selling non-gumpy baked goods on Remembrance Day.

Whatever you choose, whether you are unshaven or not, thank you for your support so far!
